- England is the "head quarters" for the United Kingdom of Great Britain. The UK consist of many different countries such as Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
- The government system of England is constitutional monarchy and a commonwealth.
- The sovereign monarch is currently led by Queen Elizabeth II, she is the head of state of the commonwealth countries (UK).
- There is also a parliamentary governmental system in England. The UK consist of two different houses: House of Commons and the House of Lords.
- The House of Commons is elected by the citizens of the UK and the House of Lords is appointed.
- The Prime Minister of the UK is the head of the government and is a member of the Parliament chosen by the House of Commons. The Prime Minister is in charge of choosing his cabinet, however it is the sovereign monarch who can officially approve the Prime Minister or the Cabinet.
